Welcome to PaintTheValleyBlue.com, the home page of the Democratic Party committees of Augusta County, Staunton and Waynesboro!
Our name - Paint The Valley Blue - tells you what we’re aiming to do this year. We’re going to bring the Central Shenandoah Valley into the Blue column for Democrats Barack Obama, Mark Warner and Sam Rasoul.
You will find on our home page here links to our local committee websites in addition to information about our ‘08 candidates, Democrat-friendly blogs in the local blogosphere and a calendar of local Democratic Party events.
We’ve also provided RSS feeds to news updates from the Obama, Warner and Rasoul campaigns - plus popular Democratic websites like Daily Kos, Huffington Post and the local AugustaFreePress.com.
Please take the time to navigate the website, and come back regularly to find out more about what we have going on through our Blog and Calendar sections.
And if you feel so inclined, join us in Painting The Valley Blue by volunteering with a local committee.
